14th Convocation
Ceremony of PRIST Deemed to be University
The 14th convocation ceremony of Thanjavur PRIST Deemed to be University was held at the University campus on 15.11.2025.
The ceremony was declared open by the University Chancellor Dr. M. Ponnaiya Nageshwaran. Sri. A. B. Devendhira Poopathy, – Additional Commissioner (Non-GST), State Tax Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, delivered the Convocation speech and conferred 31 Doctoral degrees, 215 Master’s degrees, and 888 Bachelor’s degrees, a total of 1134 degrees. In his speech, he said that the students’ education should be transformed into knowledge, and that knowledge should be useful to society.
The University Chief Executive Officer Dr. Venkata , University Vice-Chancellor Dr. T. V. Christy, Registrar Dr. M. Abdul Gani Khan, Special Officer Dr. S. Nithyanandam and the Controller of Examinations Dr. Smitha Elsa Peter participated and graced the occasion.
