Notification on e-SANAD Services

e-SANAD:- The e -SANAD is a Digital initiative of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. It is a centralized platform implementing submission of documents through online mode, with an ultimate objective to provide contactless, paperless and faceless document verification/attestation and apostille services to the applicants. The process can be completed in two steps, which are given below:

STEP-1:  Using our Institution’s Web portal link

STEP-2:  Using e-SANAD’s Web Portal

 STEP-1: Steps to be followed in our Institution’s portal are:

  1. Visit our Institution’s website: https://prist.ac.in
  2. Click the link “e-SANAD: Digital Documents – Verification/Attestation”
  3. e-Sanad Notification Page will be displayed. Go through the procedure and then Click ‘PROCEED’
  4. Enter your credentials like Name, Register Number, Degree & Branch, Type of Documents to be verified/attested, Contact details, and proceed to next step.
  5. Select “Others-e-SANAD Digital Processing Charges” in the payment option and proceed to pay Rs.1200/- as document verification processing fee.
  6. Download and save the Online Fee Payment Acknowledgement Receipt.

STEP-2: Steps to be followed in e-SANAD portal are:

  1. Readily keep the soft copies of the documents to be verified/attested and the Institution’s online payment acknowledgment receipt in PDF format.
  2. Register and login in the e-SANAD portal with URL: https://esanad.nic.in/register
  3. Select the issuing authority state as TAMIL NADU.
  4. Select Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology (PRIST) Deemed-to-be University as the document Issuing Authority.
  5. Select for Non-Pre-Verified documents
  6. Fill in the required details and Upload both the documents for verification/attestation and the Institution’s Online Payment Acknowledgement Receipt (as Supporting Document) in PDF format.
  7. Then proceed to online payment for Attestation / Apostille processing fee to e-SANAD system. The user need to pay Rs. 90/- (Rupees. Ninety Only) per Apostille or Rs. 40/- (Rupees. Forty Only) per Attestation to the Ministry of External Affairs.
  8. e-SANAD portal will generate its acknowledgment after the successful payment.
