Service Scheme (NSS) – PRIST University
The National
Service Scheme (NSS) at PRIST Deemed to be University aims to instill
the spirit of social service, leadership, and community development among
students. NSS is a government-sponsored public service program initiated by
the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India. It
encourages students to contribute to society through various activities such as
environmental protection, health awareness, literacy programs, and rural
development.
At PRIST Deemed
to be University, the NSS unit actively engages students in community service,
helping them develop a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and social awareness.
Through camps, awareness drives, and volunteer programs, NSS volunteers work
towards national development while enhancing their personal and professional
skills. “Not Me, But You” – This motto of NSS reflects the
essence of selfless service, emphasizing the importance of giving back to
society.
