On March 21, 2025, a seminar titled “The International Day of Forests,” as designated by the United Nations, was held at the PRIST university campus. Ms. Vidhya, the chief guest and deputy director in zonal agriculture, presented the special lecture at the seminar. She delivered a valuable address to the audience about the recent decline in forest areas and the ensuing ecological imbalance affecting flora and fauna. She also emphasized the significance of tree planting and praised the University for beginning the establishment of a 2-acre Nano forest intended to serve as a sanctuary for birds. The speech meticulously raised awareness about the importance of preserving nature to ensure the survival of all living beings.
