The Department of Mechanical Engineering, PRIST, organized a refresher program on 25 March 2025 in the lecture room at 9 a.m. The program is titled “Outcome-Based Education (OBE)” and conducted for the Schools of Arts & Science, Commerce & Management, and Engineering & Technology in the lecture room at 9 a.m. The resource personnel were Professors Dr. R. Tamizh Selvan, P. Vijayakumar, and M. Sudhahar from the Department of Mechanical Engineering. However, eighty faculty members from various departments attended the meeting; all benefited from the program by receiving foundational training in Outcome-Based Education. The program underscored the necessity of matching educational outcomes with industry standards to improve student learning and employability, as well as teaching methodologies consistent with OBE principles.
