University Examinations will be held twice a year – in DECEMBER and JUNE. Examination Instructions to Candidates and Time-table will be sent to the candidates by post from the Office of the Controller of Examinations, PRIST UNIVERSITY.
The Candidates can also download the Applications for the Examinations, from the University Website. The filled in examination application form along with the requisite fees in the form of demand draft should be directly handed over to the co-ordinator of the study centre concerned as per the following schedule.

Details of the examination fees are included in the examination application form. Hall tickets for the examinations will be sent directly by the Controller of Examinations before the commencement of the examinations.
Note
- As far as possible, the examination schedule (conduct of the examination) will be adhered to. If there is any change in the schedule due to unforeseen circumstances, the students will be intimated in advance.
- The centres of University Examinations will be notified separately.
- Students will be permitted to appear for examination for a maximum period of three years after the completion of actual duration of the programme.
- The University Examinations of PGDCA for paper I to paper VI will be held during the month of December and for paper VII to paper XII during the month of June. The Practical Examination for paper VI and paper XII will be held at the end of the first and second Personal contact programmes respectively.

Passing Minimum
There is no internal assessment for any programmes offered by the CDE. The marks are awarded only on the external component, i.e. for 100 marks. |

Classification of Successful Candidates
A) Under Graduate Programmes
Candidates who obtain 75% marks and above shall be placed in First Class with Distinction, and those who obtain marks between 65 % and above but less than 75 % shall be placed in First Class and those who obtain between 50 % and above but less than 65 % shall be placed in Second class. The rest of the successful candidates shall be placed in Third class.
B) Post Graduate Programmes, Post Graduate Diploma Programmes and M.Phil Programmes
Candidates securing not less than 75% marks shall be placed in First class with distinction and those who obtain marks between 65% and above but less than 75% shall be placed in First Class and those who obtain 55% and above but less than 65% shall be placed in Second class. |

Improvement / Retotalling / Revaluation
There is no provision for writing improvement examinations under any circumstances.
However, retotalling and revaluation for all UG and PG programmes can be done for which the student has to pay a fee of Rs.100/-per paper for retotalling and Rs.300/-per paper for revaluation. Requests pertaining to retotalling / revaluation will be entertained only within a span of 10 days from the date of declaration of results. All requests in this regard should be addressed to the Controller of the Examinations. |

Provisional Certificate
Provisional certificate will be issued to the candidates on payment of Rs. 100/- and sent to all those who complete the programme successfully, by the Controller of Examinations through registered post.
Consolidated Mark List
Consolidated mark list will be issued to the candidates on payment of Rs. 250/- by means of DD in favour of PRIST UNIVERSITY, on request to the Controller of Examinations, PRIST UNIVERSITY.
Convocation Form
The successful candidates of degree / diploma examination should apply for convocation form to the Controller of Examinations, PRIST UNIVERSITY. Degree certificates will be issued to candidates only if they apply for the same. The degree / diploma will be conferred in absentia and will be sent by registered post within three months from the date of the convocation. |
