Spot admission is a “Single Window Concept” devised for the convenience of the students. For the benefit of the candidates spot admission venues at various important cities have been opened.
The filled-in application form and a recent passport size photograph duly attested by a Gazetted officer should be pasted on the application form in the space provided for it. A stamp size photograph duly signed by the candidate should be pasted in the space provided in the Identity card.
Attested xerox copies of certificates and original statements of Marks of the qualifying examination and degree / provisional certificate should be submitted to the spot admission centre.
Spot admission is a process which helps the candidates to seek provisional admission at the centre itself by paying the requisite fees and getting the original documents verified and returned to the candidate then and there rather than sending the original documents to the Centre.
Subsequently the Centre will despatch the admission confirmation letter and the identity card duly signed by the authorities of the directorate to the students concerned by registered post within 30 days from the date of admission.
