AICTE (ALL India Council of Technical Education)
- PRC is the first Arts & Science Self Financing Co-educational College in Tamil Nadu, accredited with 'A' Grade By NAAC. (National Assessment and Accreditation council, an autonomous body of the University Grants Commission).
- PRC is the first Arts & Science College affiliated to Bharathidasan University, to get AICTE approval for MCA course.
The UG & PG programmes offered in PREC are approved by AICTE.
MBA programme is approved by AICTE.
- DET (Directorate of Employment & Training, Tamil Nadu)
DC & HM, DFM, DHM, DFPM, DFS and DBC catering diplomas offered by PRICH are awarded by DET.
- NCTE (National council for Teachers Education) B.Ed. course are approved by NCTE.
- DEC (Distance Education council) has approved PRIST University

| Grants and Aids |
PRC, due to its diligence in education, has been honoured with grants and aids to the tune of Rs. 75 lakhs (Rs. 7.5 million).
- UGC Development Grant under 10th plan (approved) : 16 lakhs
- UGC Vocational Course Grant (approved) : 7 + 12 = 19 lakhs
- Others grants already disbursed - 10 lakhs
- UGC Grant for computers
- UGC COSIP Grant for special equipments
- Ministry of youth and Sports Affairs (Govt. of India) - Rs. 3 lakhs for the purchase of sports goods.
- Ministry of social Welfare (Govt. of India) - Rs. 39 lakhs for the construction of Working Women's Hostel.
- Sanction of financial assistance for organising Seminar from Consumer Welfare Fund provided to Indian Institute of Public Administration
- Under the school of Life science of PRC, several research projects funded by different government departments (TNSCST, DST, DBT, CSIR, etc.) are in advanced stages of approval.
- With continuous focus on quality education and applied research, PRIST is sure of regular flow of grants and aids.
